Misc Blocks

Math Block

The Math Block can be used to perform mathematical operations on a study or variable. Supported basic mathematical operations include addition, subtraction, division, multiplication. Advanced mathematical operations include square root, logarithms, natural log, absolute value. 

Logic Block

The Logic Blocks are used to define one ore more logical conditions using a series of AND/OR expressions.

It is often combined with the Comparison block to check whether certain trading conditions have been satisfied.

Comparison Block

The Comparison blocks are used to compare the value of different studies.  Comparison operations include:

• greater than
• less than
• equals to / NOT equals to
• crosses above
• crosses below
• is between
• is NOT between

Comparison blocks are often used to check whether specific studies in the Market Studies Block or Portfolio Studies Block have hit their desired threshold / condition.
